Capcom Want A New Resident Evil On Wii
So far, the Wii is without its own Resident Evil. Umbrella Chronicles is a gun game, so doesn’t count. Resident Evil [[link]] 0? Remake, doesn’t count either. We’re talking all new here, baby.

Speaking with Eurogamer, Resident Evil 5 producer Masachika Kawata has said:
Personally I would like to create something on Wii in the Resident Evil family. At the moment we don’t know and have just [[link]] been working on RE5, so watch this space.
If Wii remakes of past games can sell millions, Lord only knows how many units a new, proper game would shift.
